Getting Elf Ready for Christmas

We have an exclusive offer for our readers for all of these magical Elf activities. Just use LOWDOWN10 to get 10% off at Elf for Christmas and read on to find out more.

Christmas is the best time to make traditions and spend quality time together as a family. This is what your children will remember in the years to come.

We think Elf is the perfect character to bring festive fun, excitement and joy into your homes and there are so many easy ways to sprinkle some magic in the run up to the big day, whether you’re an Elf newbie or a seasoned Elf-on-the-shelfer.

After all, making Christmas magical for your kids is what it's all about.

But knowing how to plan exciting Christmas activities is hard. With nativity plays, parties, shopping lists and present buying, it can easily get too much. Which is why Sarah Greenwell, mum of two, decided to start up Elf for Christmas back in 2015.

Her incredible Elf range is here to help you create family traditions and make memories that will last a lifetime and we love them, from lovable Elf toys, North Pole reward kits and enchanting daily Elf letters. Find out below how Elf can add a dose of Christmas magic and help you and your kids have the best Christmas ever.

Here is the lowdown on the top five Elf for Christmas products to let your children’s imagination run wild. They’re affordable, competitively priced and as every little helps, we’ve secured an exclusive 10% off with code LOWDOWN10

1. Christmas Elf Reward Kit

Elf Magical Reward Kit

Elf for Christmas Elves are available as boys and girls, in different skin tones and with or without a magical North Pole Reward Kit. They’re incredibly cute, have a friendly face and long legs and mischievously long arms so they can get up to tricks if you want them to (their arms are long enough to reach around things and the hands velcro together).

Where the magic really happens is in the Magical Reward Kit. This unique Christmas kit is a package to promote good behaviour in the run up to the Big Day. Designed for families with up to two siblings, all of the items in our Christmas kit can be shared. Plus, we have included two Letters to Santa and two Nice List Certificates, so you can personalise these for each child.

2. Daily Elf Letters

These magical Christmas Elf letters can be personalised to one or more children, to mysteriously arrive each day throughout December. The letters arrive in numbered envelopes and are jampacked with all the funny and top secret information about what is happening at the North Pole! Each letter builds up a story to follow as you countdown to Christmas.

The letters work with our without an Elf at home – they make an alternative to Elf mischief or can be a daily surprise your Elf can deliver! The letters can be purchased as a cheaper, standard edition or a fully personalised version including names (up to 5 siblings), their town, other people at home and your choice of Father Christmas or Santa. Choose to enjoy either 24 or 12 daily letters – the choice is yours.

3. North Pole Golden Ticket

North pole golden ticket

This personalised gift voucher in the style of a North Pole Golden Ticket is a magical way to give your child a gift experience this Christmas. It is popular with theatre tickets, experiences, trips to meet Santa Claus, or even instead of giving money or a virtual present.

Presented in a festive red envelope, the gold foiled ticket is customised with your child’s name and any message, for example – “as the bearer of this Golden Ticket, you are entitled to: A trip to Winter Wonderland to meet Santa” or “as the bearer of this Golden Ticket, you are entitled to: A trip to Wembley to watch the Lionesses!”

Imagine receiving that in your stocking!

4. Personalised Christmas Treasure Hunt

Make December easier with a ready made new clue for every day of Advent as you hide Elf around your home! Your children will love reading the clue card and to find out where the Elf is hidden. The magical North Pole clues are addressed personally to your child from Santa Claus in an introduction welcome card that asks 'Can you crack the clues in the Christmas Elf Hunt?'

We have included spare clue cards too - there are 28 clue cards in total, so if you aren't able to use every clue, there are some you can swap around. The clues have been written around everyday life so should be easy to use at home. The Pack contains 1 x personalised introduction card and 28 x Elf Hunt cards.

5. Christmas Code Breaker - Escape Room Puzzles at home

Elf Christmas codebreaker puzzles

The Elves have forgotten the code to unlock a treasure chest containing Santa's magical flying compass... without it Santa can't take the right route on Christmas Eve. Disaster! Can you solve a series of 24 puzzles and reveal the code to help the Elves save Christmas?

Delivered as 24 individual A6 puzzle cards in a presentation box, the puzzles can be solved daily or can be completed in batches during December. They can also be divided up between siblings so everyone is involved in the festive fun! Arriving with a letter explaining your task, the kit contains a mixture of word games, number puzzles, mazes, picture puzzles and rhymes.

A North Pole congratulations 'You Saved Christmas' certificate is included for when the task is completed. Suitable for puzzle lovers ages 7 + (or younger with help from a grown up).

Use the code LOWDOWN10 to get 10% off at Elf for Christmas and let the magic begin!
